Singer Sean Kingston faces 10 charges in Florida fraud case

Singer Sean Kingston is facing 10 charges in Florida after being arrested alongside his mother for racking up about a million dollars worth of merch without paying.

 


From the arrest warrant issued in Broward County, it was gathered that the singer is facing a total of 10 charges related to the raid Sheriff's deputies conducted last week, with the biggest one being an alleged organized scheme to defraud several companies.

 

It is alleged that Sean and his mother, Janice Turner ripped off a jeweler, an exotic car dealer and several other businesses for well into the 6-figures. The car dealer allegation is over a Cadillac Escalade worth $159,701.49 and the jewelry was worth a whopping $480K. 

 

Sean is also facing a grand theft charge for an $86,568.33 piece of furniture, a custom bed. The other charges are all related to defrauding banks and writing bad checks. Janice is facing a total of 8 charges.

 

Singer Sean Kingston faces 10 charges in Florida fraud case

 

One of the counts against Sean is a probation violation. He was on probation for trafficking stolen property. 

 

He's scheduled to appear before a San Bernardino court for his extradition hearing before he's sent back to Florida. He's been held without bail since his arrest last Thursday.

A heavily pregnant Nigerian   woman   sparked discussion when she went into labor minutes after posting a video on   TikTok , ultimately losing her   twins . In a video she shared on her TikTok page from her hospital bed, the woman revealed that she had posted on TikTok shortly before going into labor. However, she disclosed that she lost her twins during labor at the hospital. The video carried a caption that better explains the event: “Few minutes after posting on TikTok, labor took place. Bobrisky pleads guilty to Naira abuse as court strikes out Money Laundering charges Popular cross-dresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye aka Bobrisky, has pleaded guilty to the Naira abuse charge leveled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Bobrisky was arraigned before the Federal High Court, Lagos on a six-count charge bordering on alleged Abuse of the Naira and alleged Money Laundering  When the charge was read, Bobrisky pleaded guilty to the first four counts bordering on Naira abuse.  Before the charge was read, the EFCC’s counsel, Suleiman Suleiman, however asked the court to strike out counts five and six bothering on Money laundering allegations.   Justice Abimbola Awogboro subsequently struck out counts five and six.   Bobrisky was then arraigned on only counts one to four charges. When the counts were read, Bobrisky was asked if he understood the charge that was read to him, he replied, “yes, I am guilty”.
