Champions League final: Dortmund confront Real Madrid at Wembley tonight

Borussia Dortmund is set to face Real Madrid in the highly anticipated UEFA Champions League (UCL) final at Wembley Stadium tonight.

This final marks Borussia Dortmund’s return to the pinnacle of European football as they aim to secure their second Champions League title, their first since their triumph in 1997. The team claimed a spot in the final following their victory over PSG in the semifinals with an aggregate score of 2-0.

On the other hand, Joselu’s late brace against Bayern in the second leg of the semifinals earned Real Madrid a place in the final and a chance to compete for their 15th UCL title. Carlo Ancelotti’s side earlier defeated the defending UCL champions, Manchester City, in a fiercely contested quarterfinal round, ultimately triumphing in penalties

Speaking with UEFA ahead of the final, Ancelotti, expressed his excitement about the match. “We’re really happy to play in yet another final. The nerves will come, but we aim to let them come as late as possible. We have to seize this moment, this huge match, the most beautiful match of the year, and also the most beautiful to experience,” he said.
