American singer Solána Imani Rowe, better known as SZA, has taken a hiatus from live concerts.
According to her, the break is indefinite.
She confirmed it on social media after performing at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival on August 5th.
The ‘Kill Bill’ hitmaker revealed that she needs the time off to work on getting her life together.
On her X handle, SZA wrote, “Yesterday was my last show for a while. Finally bout to get my life together. Thank u God.”
The Grammy-winning R&B singer has been on the road since early 2023, performing 63 performances throughout the world for her ‘SOS’ Tour before launching into a packed summer festival schedule.
In other news, T.I., a popular American rapper, was arrested at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on Sunday night after being mistaken for another person.
A warrant had been issued for T.I.’s real name, Clifford Harris, who was wanted in Baltimore, Maryland. The suspect is wanted for allegedly engaging in violent behavior toward a woman, including stalking and maybe using a firearm.
T.I. was taken from the airport to the Clayton County Jail. Because the warrant was issued from out of state, the arrest resulted in an automatic extradition hearing.
Steve Sadow, T.I.’s attorney, informed TMZ that he called the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office and had him freed within two hours after his arrest.The judge reviewed and dismissed the extradition order. Clifford Harris, the sought man, reportedly weighs 205 pounds, whereas T.I. weighs 165 pounds.
The complaint was filed on June 13, this year.
