EDO DECIDES: Police Nab 2 Political Thugs, Recover Firearms Amidst Tensions"

The Edo State Police Command has arrested two suspected political thugs and recovered firearms in a bid to maintain peace and order during the ongoing electoral process.


According to reports, the suspects were apprehended in Benin City, the state capital, after intelligence gathered by the police indicated their involvement in plans to disrupt the electoral process.

- 5 live cartridges

- 1 Toyota Corolla vehicle


The Edo State Police Commissioner, Mr. Johnson Kokumo, confirmed the arrest and assured residents of the command's commitment to ensuring 


a peaceful and credible electoral process.

To prevent further disruptions, the police have deployed additional personnel to strategic locations across the state.
