Abuja, Nigeria - The Comptroller-General of Customs has ordered the auction of seized petrol to be sold at N630 per litre.
According to reports, the seized petrol, totaling 1,046 kegs, was recovered from two lorries during Operation Whirlwind, a crackdown on smuggling activities.
The Nigeria Customs Service aims to discourage smuggling, encourage legitimate trade, and generate revenue through this auction.
