  Chef Hilda Baci, a Guinness World Record holder, has broken her silence in a new post after activist  VeryDarkMan  accused her of scamming people by offering an online cooking class. Today, April 23rd, 2024, VeryDarkMan (VDM) confronts Hila Baci, revealing that the chef took N35k from hundreds of Nigerians for a culinary class before ghosting them all. According to VeryDarkMan, the Hilda Baci online cooking class was supposed to begin on March 22nd, 2024, but the chef postponed it until four days later and did not even bother offering the online cooking lesson to individuals after collecting N35K from thousands of people.Speaking further in the video, VDM accuses Hilda Baci of obtaining money from people under false pretenses. FCT police drafted to Abuja school where students were filmed bullying their classmate The FCT Police Command has dispatched experienced officers to the Leads British International School grounds to conduct inquiries into the reported cases of bullying.     A statement from the Police Public Relations Officer for the FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, reads   “In a proactive response to alarms raised by some members of the public regarding videos circulating on social media depicting the bullying of students at the above mentioned school, the FCT Police Command is on top of the situation and has deployed seasoned officers to the school premises for investigations and to forestall any possible breakdown of law and order.”

  The embattled immediate past Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, says he would have appeared at the Federal High Court in Abuja to answer to the 19-count charge preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, but is afraid he would be arrested.   Though Bello was absent for his arraignment today April 23, he briefed a team of lawyers who addressed the court on his behalf. A member of his legal team, Adeola Adedipe, SAN, told the court that his client would have made himself available for the proceedings, but was afraid that he would be arrested. The defendant wants to come to court but he is afraid that there is an order of arrest hanging on his head,” Adedipe, SAN, submitted.   Adesipe then appealed to the court to set aside the exparte order of arrest it earlier issued against the former governor.
